Selfridges Selection’s team of festive gourmands have declared a new undisputed champion of Christmas grub. Forget turkey, pigs in blankets, and chestnuts roasting on an open fire; it’s all about panettone this year. Made in collaboration with Tuscan family bakery Fratelli Lunardi, the 12 Days of Panettone advent calendar comprises four inventive varieties of the Italian sweetbread, from a pillowy traditional loaf to an indulgent iteration studded with candied orange and Belgian chocolate.
